Short, loud, head-to-head. Any opponent works — teammate, parent, neighbour — and if there’s one ball, take turns against the clock. Loser of each game picks the next. Best of five.
toe-tap race — 30 seconds, most toe-taps on the ball. count out loud, no mumbling. sole-roll shuttle — roll the ball sole-only to a line and back. first home wins. ball must stay glued. slalom sprint — three markers, down and back, ball on a string. touch a marker, start over. wall-pass minute — 60 seconds, most clean wall passes. one wall each, or take turns. figure-eight — around two markers in a figure-eight, left foot only. first to three loops.
Racing pulls the touches out of you faster than any drill asks politely — that’s the whole trick.
progression. rematch rule: winner takes the weak foot next round. keep a family record book if the same games keep coming back — records make everyone honest.
