Mistakes aren’t the problem. Carrying them into the next ball is. The reset is four moves, about six seconds, and it’s the difference between one bad pass and ten bad minutes.

name it — one word, to yourself. frustrated. angry. embarrassed. breathe out — one long exhale. the word leaves with it. next ball — say it. that’s the whole sentence. head up — find three things: nearest teammate, nearest opponent, the ball.
