A gate two markers wide tells the truth: the pass went through or it didn’t. Ten minutes, a ball, two markers, and a wall or a partner. You count clean passes all the way through — the number at the end is yours to beat next time.
How it runs:
- through the gate — each foot. inside of the foot, firm and low. ten clean ones, then a step back.
- first touch, then through. control the return, then pass through the gate — the touch sets up the pass.
- left foot only. the block that matters most.
- one minute — count them. clean gates in sixty seconds. that’s your number.
progression. narrow the gate a shoe-width before you move it further away — distance is easy to add, accuracy has to be earned first. with a partner, the receiver calls “turn” now and then: control, turn, and hit a gate behind you.
