Four markers in a line (bottles, shoes), two big steps apart, plus a small box marked at the end — that’s the whole setup. The timer runs the lanes; you keep one rule the entire time: touches so small the ball never leaves you.
What each lane is for: both feet builds the base. outside only unlocks the touch defenders hate. left only is where the weak foot becomes a foot. tight box, head up — drift through the box with tiny touches while your eyes are anywhere but the ball; this is the lane that shows up in matches. slow in, burst out — the change of pace is the skill that beats defenders, not the trick.
progression. markers closer, touches smaller. then take it to 1v1 games — a slalom never tackles back, and dribbling only fully exists with a defender in it.
